Bethesda Ruins - Bethesda Offices West: On the top floor, in the room with rigged shotguns, the book is in a wooden crate on a desk in the corner, topped with a steam gauge assembly.

Canterbury Commons - Dominic and Machete’s House: The book is on a metal shelf inside Dominic and Machete’s House.

Corvega Factory: In the second part of the factory, in the southern area near the ant queen, the book is on a desk in one of the raised areas.

Dunwich Building - Forsaken Dunwich Ruins: On the southern end of the map, the book is on a shelf next to a Toolbox in a room.

Dupont Circle - Dry Sewer: North of Dupont East, inside the Dry Sewers, the book is in a small southern room on a metal shelf, on top of another book.

Hubris Comics - Utility Tunnels: South of Farragut West Metro Station, across the river, the book is on a desk by electrical equipment in a room accessible from the Capital Wasteland exit.

Hubris Comics Area: South of Hubris Comics, find the book inside a Pulowski Preservation Chamber.

Jury Street Metro Station: In the station, head right around the first corner to a Raider camp. The book is on the Workbench.

Mama Dolce’s - Mama Dolce’s Processed Foods: Head up stairs from the previous Guns and Bullets location. The book is on a metal shelf on a landing in the stairwell, next to a smashed computer.

MDPL-05 Power Station: In the north-west corner of the map, inside the fenced area, the book is leaning against a toolbox near a skeleton and a Schematic.

Metro Central: On the second floor, between exits to Foggy Bottom Station and Freedom Street Station, the book is on a round table in a caged-in area.

Nuka-Cola Plant - Factory Floor: From the entrance, head east, then into the room on the left. The book is on the inside corner of the L-shaped counter.

Nuka-Cola Plant Area: North-west of the Nuka-Cola Plant, inside a ruined truck bed on a hill, the book is on a footlocker. This truck is west of the diner with the U.S. Army: 30 Handy Flamethrower Recipes book.

Ranger Compound: From the entrance, go down stairs, left, then left again down a southern tunnel. The book is on a generator in a room. If difficult to pick up, try blowing up the generator.

Red Racer Factory - Factory Floor: Head north from the entrance to a room with a conveyor belt. Jump on the metal barrels by a door to get onto the conveyor belt machine, where the book is next to a toolbox.

Rivet City - Broken Bow: In Pinkerton’s room in the Broken Bow section of Rivet City. The book is on a shelf near the Big Book of Science. Access the Broken Bow by swimming under the eastern side of the ship or by having a Lockpick score of 100.

Rockbreaker’s Last Gas - Abandoned Shack: West and slightly north of Rockbreaker’s Last Gas, on a mountain, the book is in a wooden crate on the workbench in the Abandoned Shack. A Guns and Bullets book and a Keller Family Transcript are also present.

Temple of the Union Area - Abandoned Farm: North-east of the Temple of the Union, up a hill, find the farm. South-east of the outhouse with the Guns and Bullets book, the book is inside an overturned truck bed on the shore of a small pond over a cliff, resting on radioactive barrels.

Tepid Sewers: In the Tepid Sewers, east of Rocksalt and his Raiders' tunnel, the book is in a room with a large generator, behind a Toolbox and by a wrench.

VAPL-58 Power Station - Power Substation: In the Power Substation, the book is on a desk next to a working computer terminal and a safe.

VAPL-66 Power Station - Power Substation: In the Power Substation, the book is on a desk with a broken computer.

Vault 92 Area - Raider Barn: West of Vault 92, inside a barn full of Raiders, the book is on a metal shelf.

Vernon Square - Sewer Entrance: Near the Cinema, enter the Sewer Entrance. The book is on a table beyond a locked door (Average lockpicking skill required).

Warrington Station: From Roy Phillips' room, go north, then east down stairs, then north into a storeroom with a red light. The book is on a metal shelf.
