Blood Ties: Unfinished Business

The West Residence: Investigate the West residence. A high Medicine skill may reveal blackish residue on the corpses, suggesting a connection to trainyards. Report back to Evan King.

Find The Family: Evan King will ask you to find The Family. Head north-east to the Northwest Seneca Station. You can jump off the bridge into the water to reach it faster.

Explore the Grocer: Before entering the Seneca Station, explore the nearby Grocer. You'll find minor treasures like Nuka-Colas, Whiskey, Beer, Tin Caps, Sugar Bombs, and Abraxo Cleaner. There's also Pre-War Money, a first aid box, an easy terminal, and an easy safe.

Enter Seneca Station: Exit the Grocer and enter the Seneca Station. You may encounter Talon Company Mercenaries or Regulators.

Gather Ingredients for Ultrajet: Head west to find a Nuka-Cola Vending Machine, an Eat-o-tronic, and a Plasma Grenade in the bathrooms. Head east to find a Ghoul named Murphy. He is creating Ultrajet and needs Sugar Bombs. He offers 15 Caps per box, but a successful Speech challenge can raise it to 30 Caps. Murphy reveals The Family lives east and can be reached through this metro.

Locate The Family: Your world map shows Hallowed Moors Cemetery, Meresti Trainyard, Agatha’s House, and the Scrapyard are east of Seneca Station. Meresti Trainyard is the most likely location for The Family. Loot the area and head west, past radioactive barrels, and down the manhole to the Meresti Service Tunnel.

Traps and Tunnels: Navigate north through the tunnel, avoiding traps like pressure plates, trip wires, and landmines. Take the first left, move between subway cars, and find Robert behind a barricade. You can bribe him, succeed at a Speech challenge, or show him Lucy West's letter to pass. He will tell you to talk to Vance. Loot everything, especially the Tumblers Today book near the fridge. You likely cannot access the “Meresti Trainyard Station Entry Terminal” [Very Hard] yet. Head north past Robert's shack and enter the Meresti Metro Station.

In Search of Ian: Go up the stairs to the balcony and jump onto the northern traincar to find a wooden crate. Flip it over to find a copy of Lying, Congressional Style. Talk to Family members to find Ian's location. Justin will tell you with a Speech challenge. Karl/Brianna will tell you with Black Widow/Lady Killer. Talk to Vance to progress. If you fail a Speech challenge with Vance, he'll give you the password to the commons area computer. Learn that Vance is convincing The Family they are vampires. Ask about Ian and convince Vance to let you speak to him. A locked door is up the stairs to the south.

Symbiotic Relationship: Activate the terminal and use the password to access Ian. Talk to Ian. Show him Lucy’s letter or succeed at a Speech check to get him to leave. Return to Vance and discuss Arefu. Succeed at a Speech challenge, make two Medicine checks, or pass an Intelligence check to convince them to defend Arefu in exchange for Blood Packs. Vance agrees and gives you a proposal for Evan King. Return to Evan King and tell him Ian left The Family. He will give you the Schematic - Shishkebab.
