Vault 106

Head north-west from Vault 101 until you find Vault 106.

Enter Vault 106; explore north then east. Find a locked door [Very Easy] to the south. Behind it are two skeletons with Laser Pistols and a Security Terminal [Average].

Return to the previous room and go east. Take either the north or south stairs. You will encounter Insane Survivors and experience visions. Find a suit of Recon Armor and a suit of Combat Armor in lockers on this level. Take the southern staircase and follow the hallway to the Vault 106 Living Quarters.

Enter the Vault 106 Living Quarters, fighting two Insane Survivors. In a room to the east, find the book Nickola Tesla and You in the bottom of a wooden crate under some Tin Cans.

Head south-east from the entrance to this level. Go through another door and down a hallway to a room with an Insane Survivor. Search the room and find Bobblehead - Science on a metal shelf on the eastern side. Return to the room leading to the Vault 106 Entrance.

In the main room, go to the south-western edge. Loot counters for Beer and a Frag Mine. Pick the locked door [Hard] to the south and enter the Overseer’s office. Hack the Overseer's computer [Average]. Return to the main room and go through the western door.

Follow the tunnel down stairs. Go through the next door to the lower floor. Find a storage room to the south. Continue south to a locked [Easy] door leading to the Science Labs. Explore the north for living quarters.

Head through the north door for a flashback. Ignore side rooms. Go down stairs to find two more Insane Survivors. Continue through another door and down more stairs, experiencing another vision. Reach side doors; the west has a desk with the note “Feel The Love Man”. Search the east if desired. Continue south to a branching path. East and west doors lead to bathrooms with little loot. Head down stairs and go through the locked door [Average]. Open the locked [Hard] safe in the room beyond. Backtrack and head to the Vault 106 Science Labs.

In the Science Labs, go down stairs and take the left fork up stairs. Explore the room at the right fork, kill Insane Survivors, find Recon Armor in a locker and .308 Caliber Ammo. Go up the stairs and kill more Insane Survivors. Go through the door leading back to the Vault 106 Living Quarters.

In the Vault 106 Living Quarters, find the Security Terminal and the Vault 106 Master Key on the table. Head back down to the Science Labs and continue down the tunnel opposite the stairs leading back to the Living Quarters.

In the Science Labs, take a right and go down stairs, then take another right. Loot lockers and find the book Tumblers Today on a collapsed metal object in the back corner. Head back into the main tunnel and continue north.

Follow the tunnel, ignore a side room, and go down stairs. Reach a door. On the far side is the Sole Survivor. Fight her; she uses illusions and goes invisible below 50% health. In a cubby to the west, find ammo boxes and a Mini Nuke.
