Detailed walkthrough for Fallout 3's Little Lamplight and The Enclave sections, covering Murder Pass, Vault 87 access, item locations, and quest progression.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
Picking on Princess: West of the Great Chamber entrance is another way in. North of the gate to Murder Pass, you'll find Princess. A Speech check with Sammy can reveal why she's named Princess. A Charisma check allows you to insult her, losing karma.
  2. 2
The Back Door: Find Joseph, the teacher and barber of Little Lamplight. He can tell you about the route to Vault 87 and fix the computer that opens the door. Hack the terminal (Average difficulty) to gain access to Vault 87.
  3. 3
Biwwy’s Wazer Wifle: Find the note “January 26, 2077 – Little Lamplight!” on a pool table. Biwwy offers to sell his Wazer Wifle for 500 Caps, but can be bartered down to 250 Caps with a successful Barter check.
  4. 4
Murder Pass: From the entrance, head north, then west at a fork. Disarm a tripwire trap before a bridge. Cross the bridge, killing Super Mutants. Continue west down a slope to find two first aid boxes and a copy of U.S. Army: 30 Handy Flamethrower Recipes near a small round table.
  5. 5
Tales on Top of a Toilet: Return to the entrance and follow the north fork to a large chamber. Past some barricades, turn east to find a shack. Around the eastern side of the shack, a wooden ramp leads to a makeshift bathroom. On top of the toilet tank is a copy of Tales of a Junktown Jerky Vendor.
  6. 6
Murderin’ More Mutants in Murder Pass: From the shack, head north over a collapsed fence, then west, north-west, and into a tunnel north. At a fork, heading north leads to Vault 87. Explore the south-west path for Super Mutants, first aid boxes, and ammo boxes.
  7. 7
To Vault 87: Return to the fork and take the north-western path. Pass sandbags and continue north to another fork. The western path is a dead-end with a tripwire. Take the eastern path, passing a fence with a hole and another tripwire before a dirt ramp. Head down a tunnel east, then north until you find the Vault 87 door.
  8. 8
Looting the Vault Room: In the small room beyond the Vault 87 door, find a first aid box, three ammo boxes, a Nuka-Cola Quantum, and a Stealth Boy. A pressure plate rigged to a Grenade Bouquet is near a desk. Through a door north, you'll reach the Reactor Chamber, ending the “Picking Up the Trail” quest and beginning “Finding the Garden of Eden.”
  9. 9
Reactor Chamber: Head north, then west, then north again to another metal door. Enter the vault and continue north to a fork. Turn west, go up stairs, and continue west to another fork. Turn south through a door to find a mannequin with a wooden crate containing Whiskey and a copy of Nikola Tesla and You. Exit this room through a door north, past a barrel, into a room with a safe (Average difficulty) and a “Peter Stevens Personal Journals” terminal. Continuing north leads to the exit to The Great Chamber and Makeshift Bedding.
  10. 10
To the Living Quarters: Backtrack south and return up the stairs to the east. At the fork at the top of the stairs, turn north down the unexplored tunnel, which leads to a Radroach-occupied room. A Super Mutant may appear. Go through a doorway.
