Takka's Sidequests

Complete Takka's sidequests in final fantasy xv, from gathering ingredients to hunting beasts and securing shipments.

Scenic Delivery

Takka’s first assignment is to bring back a Lucian Tomato. You can find them east of a depression north-east of Hammerhead Outpost, or buy them from Galdin Quay or the Prarie Outpost.

Hunters and Gatherers

The second ingredient Takka needs is a Daggerquill Breast. Daggerquills can be found outside the Tomb of the Wise, north of the Prairie Outpost, or in the western-most valley of The Three Vallies, east of the Hammerhead Outpost. You can also buy them from the JM Market at the Prarie Outpost.

Emergency Delivery

To continue Takka’s requests, you must complete the quest “Declaration of War” and finish Chapter 2. You will need to obtain a Garula Sirloin. Garulas are found west of the Coernix Station - Alstor and around Neeglyss Pond in the Alstor Slough.

Everyone Loves Beans

This quest involves securing a misplaced shipment. Drive north from the Old Lestallum outpost until you reach a fork, then dismount and head north-west into the wilderness on foot to find a car off-road. Kill the Havocfangs prowling around to secure the shipment.

Lestallums Finest

Track down goods that have gone missing from Lestallum. Make your way to Lestallum and talk to the proprietor of the Furlock Farms stall. Drive to the Coernix Station - Cauthess and head north. The shipment is east of the road, guarded by a herd of Garulas led by a Garulessa. Return to the proprietor of the Furloch Farms stall in Lestallum with the news before returning to Takka.

A Meat Most Magnificent

Pick up the hunt “Marsh Madness! The Giant Awakens” from the Crow’s Nest Diner - Alstor at the Coernix Station - Alstor. Make your way south-west to the northern end of the Neegyss Pond to find the Catoblepas. This beast has a lot of Hit Points and deals significant damage. Its strategy involves avoiding hits, warping in and out of danger, and performing sustained aerial assaults, staying away from its feet and attacking the body or head. Use techniques and Armiger when possible. You may need to attempt the hunt multiple times to get the Catoblepas Brisket drop.
