Burden of Expectation

Complete the Burden of Expectation quest in final fantasy xv. Learn about Coernix Station - Lestallum, meeting Iris, and the rewards.

Run south-west along the highway to find Coernix Station - Lestallum. Here you can purchase car upgrades like the Airflow Compensator for 6,000 Gil and the Auxiliary Tank for 6,000 Gil to reduce refueling frequency.

Head back north-east to a plaza, then turn down an alley to the south-west to reach The Leville - Lestallum. Enter the hotel to meet Iris.

Upon waking up at The Leville, meet Iris in the lobby. You can choose to tour the city with her. Declining earns 2 AP, while accepting leads to a tour.

A Stroll for Two:

1. Marketplace: Choose “Act Interested” for 250 EXP or “Act Uninterested” for 2 AP.
2. Power Plant: Head north, north-east through the market, up stairs, then east to the bridge. Choose “Encourage Her” for 250 EXP or “Express Concern” for 2 AP.
3. Outlook: Make your way to one of the city’s overlooks. Choose “Deny the suggestion” for 300 EXP or “Make light of the situation” for 2 AP.
4. Return to Hotel: Choose “Agree with Iris” for 500 EXP, “Make light of the subject” for 2 AP, or “Change the subject” for an Elixir.

After your tour, talk to the hotel owner, Jared, to receive another Magic Flask. This conversation also starts the quest “The Sword in the Waterfall”.
