Alright, let's talk about getting around Eos! The world of Final Fantasy XV is huge, and knowing how to explore efficiently will make your journey so much smoother. Think of outposts and camps as your safe havens. You'll find them scattered all over, and the best part? No enemies! They usually come with a shop, and sometimes a friendly face who can really help you out.

These helpful NPCs, often marked with a fork and spoon icon on your map, are called 'tipsters.' They offer three cool services. First, they can drop a speech bubble icon on your map, showing you points of interest nearby like parking spots for your car, other outposts, dungeons, and even places to find items. Second, they can sell you food. It's like resting at a camp, but instead of using your own items, you pay with gil. Some of these meals can even inspire Ignis to whip up new recipes when you camp!

The third service tipsters offer is Hunts. They'll send you after a specific monster or group of monsters. Once you take them down and report back, you'll get a reward, usually gil and some useful items. It's a great way to earn some extra cash and gear while you're out and about.

Modes of Transportation

Now, how do you actually get around this massive world? You've got two main rides: the Regalia and Chocobos.

The Regalia, your sweet ride, is perfect for covering long distances. Initially, Ignis will drive you, but once you hit Chapter 3, you can take the wheel yourself! As you explore, you'll discover parking spots. Make sure to use them! These spots act as fast travel points, so snagging as many as possible early on will save you tons of time later.

Want to soup up your Regalia? Head over to Hammerhead and chat with Cindy. You can change its body color, but you'll need to find ores and other materials out in the world. You can also deck it out with decals, change the interior color, and even pick out different wheels. Oh, and heads up: the Regalia upgrade you get in the postgame is a separate vehicle you can customize too!

Your other trusty steed is the Chocobo. You can rent these feathered friends starting from Chapter 3. Just a heads-up, you can only rent them for up to seven days. If your rental time runs out while you're riding, the Chocobo will just head back as soon as you dismount. As you ride your Chocobo, it'll level up to a max of ten, unlocking bonuses and even some battle abilities. You can also customize their color by doing sidequests for Wiz or by finding specific items during Chocobo races.

Sidequests

Beyond the main story, Eos is full of people needing a hand or interesting tasks to complete. These are usually marked with an orange '?' on your map, but sometimes they'll only pop up when you get close enough – like those tied to optional dungeons. Don't skip these! Completing sidequests is a fantastic way to rack up experience, gil, and snag some sweet items. Seriously, make time for them whenever you can!
