Guide to Chapter 13 Redemption in Final Fantasy XV. Learn how to escape the Imperial Capital, navigate daemon attacks, and reach Gralea before the gates close.
Alright, so you're on the train and things are about to get dicey. The train stops again, and wouldn't you know it, daemons are attacking and smashing through the windows. The real kicker? Noctis can't summon his weapons right now, which is a huge problem. Your buddy tells you to run, so that's what we're gonna do. Start sprinting towards the back of the train, weaving through all the little daemons trying to get at you. When you reach the Regalia, it's time to hit the road.
Now, things are about to get even crazier. The city's defense system kicks in, and all the entrances to Gralea start sealing up. You've got a tight two-minute window to speed through a tunnel and get inside before they lock down completely. You'll need to dodge debris as you go. Once you're out of the tunnel, Imperial airships will start blasting the tracks. Just keep driving, dodging what you can, until the Regalia takes too much damage and everything grinds to a halt.
You've made it past the gate, but the rest of the journey is on foot. As soon as you get control back, backtrack a little to find an Oracle Ascension Coin. Once you've got that, head the way you were supposed to go. You'll pass under a train car, and it'll collapse, separating you from your friends. Naturally, some daemons show up, and since you still don't have your weapons, you're completely defenseless. Your only option is to run. Hop into the open train car and get out the side with the stairs – the other side is a dead end. At the top, head into the building to finally escape the daemons and wrap up this part of the story.
