Kitty Catering Side Quest:

Before dealing with Dino, you can undertake the Kitty Catering side quest at Galdin Quay.

  2. Noctis determines the cat wants Trevally Fillet.
  3. Obtain Trevally Fillet by fishing off the dock near Bob’s Bait Emporium or buying it from Aldare’s.
  4. Return to the cat with the Trevally Fillet.
  5. The cat is unsatisfied, requiring the fish to be cooked.
  6. Go to the Mother of Pearl restaurant at the quayside resort and ask the lady to prepare one Trevally Fillet into “Coctura’s Cat Food”.
  7. Return to the cat with the prepared fish.
  8. The reward for spoiling the cat is 600 EXP and 1 Dragon Scale.

Exploration around Galdin Quay:

  • From the Galdin Quay outpost, find a Treasure Spot to the south-east yielding a Star Shell.
  • Find another Treasure Spot to the north-west yielding a Fencer’s Anklet.
  • Further west along the beach is the Lachyrte Haven for camping.
  • South of Galdin Quay along the beach is another fishing spot, Galdin Shoals.

  • Choosing “Stand my ground” during the dialogue with Dino provides more EXP for Ignis (150 EXP) compared to choosing “Listen to him” (80 EXP for Noctis).
