Guide yourself through the desolate World of Ruin in Final Fantasy XV. Learn how to navigate Galdin Quay, find hidden items, and reach Hammerhead.

Alright, so you've made it to Chapter 14, the 'World of Ruin.' Things have changed a lot, and Noctis is back but the world is… well, ruined. You'll start by sailing into Galdin Quay, but don't expect a warm welcome. Your goal is Hammerhead, and since there's no car, you're hoofing it.

As soon as you land, you'll run into some Goblins on the dock. Take 'em out! Then, more daemons will show up near where the inn used to be. Keep an eye out for Tonberries in this group – they love to spam their blocking prompt. The best way to deal with them is to parry their attacks.

Head north-east from the docks. You'll find the ruins of the Mother of Pearl diner. If you check the room to the north-west, you'll find a pack of Skeletons. Defeating them can get you a Mega Phoenix. In the room to the south-east, some Garchimaceras are guarding a Megalixir. Upstairs, to the north-east of the diner, you'll face a Naga and two Liches. Honestly, these guys can be tough, but you don't *have* to fight them. If they're giving you too much trouble, just run past. Loot is nice, but your time might be better spent.

Keep running down that long, winding pier. You'll have to fight or avoid some Hobgoblins along the way. When you get to the beach, don't relax just yet – a couple of Iron Giants are hanging out where the parking lot used to be. Follow the road north from Galdin Quay. Uh oh, looks like the real danger is up ahead: a Daemonwall is lurking in the first tunnel. Seriously, do NOT fight this thing. Just keep following the road, ignore any other daemons you see in the wilderness, and be ready to evade a second Daemonwall in the next tunnel. Eventually, the road will split. A truck will drive by, and the driver, looking a bit older, will offer you a ride back to Hammerhead. Just relax and watch the daemons run wild.

Once you finally arrive at Hammerhead, you'll meet up with some familiar faces. Take a look around: there's a Red Choker inside the diner, behind the counter. Next to some rubble outside the diner, you'll find a Shattered Timepiece. On the eastern side, near the mini-mart, there's a Rusted Bit. The weapon shop has some powerful gear, but be prepared to spend some serious Gil. You can also chat with Talcott to catch up on what's been happening.
