Complete Sania's Final Specimens in final fantasy xv. Find the Griffon Feather and collect all five Rainbow Frogs.

  • Hunter Rank sufficient for the "Ruler of the Brave Skies" hunt, OR access to the northern boundary of Duscae.
  • Access to Coernix Station - Cauthess, Coernix Station - Alstor, Meldacio Hunter HQ, The Vesperpool - West Bank Fishing Spot, Saxham Reservoir Fishing Spot, Neeglyss Towerfront Fishing Spot, The Maidenwater Parking Spot, and Fort Vaullerey Parking Spot.
Walkthrough
  1. 1
    Obtain a Griffon Feather:
    1. Option 1 (Hunt): Accept the hunt "Ruler of the Brave Skies" at Coernix Station - Cauthess. Travel west of Aracheole Stronghold and east of Wainterre Haven Campground to find the Griffon. Slay it and collect the feather.
  2. 2
Option 2 (Wild Encounter): Travel to Coernix Station - Alstor. Head north to the northern boundary of Duscae, then turn west. Follow rock formations and fences until you reach a clearing south of where you touched the second runestone during "The Trial of Ramuh". A Griffon prowls here; defeat it for a feather.
  • Return to Sania: Give the Griffon Feather to Sania at Coernix Station - Cauthess.
  • Travel to Meldacio Hunter HQ: Find Sania again at Meldacio Hunter HQ.
  • Collect Rainbow Frogs: Sania needs five Rainbow Frogs, found near water sources. No quest markers are provided.
    1. Vesperpool Rainbow Frog: Go to The Vesperpool - West Bank Fishing Spot. Head north-west to a small island where a Rainbow Frog resides.
    2. Saxham Reservoir Rainbow Frogs (2): Travel to Saxham Reservoir Fishing Spot (south-west of Coernix Station - Cauthess). Head east around the northern end of the pond to a water tower. From there, go south-west over a fence to find the second frog near a boulder. Continue east around the pond to find the third frog.
    3. Alstor Slough Rainbow Frog: Start at Neeglyss Towerfront Fishing Spot. Head south-west along the shore of Neeglyss Pond. Find a water tower between Neeglyss Pond and a smaller body of water with stone arches. Continue south-west to the edge of the water, between a fence and trees, to find the third frog under a tree.
    4. Wennath Fork Rainbow Frog: Travel to The Maidenwater Parking Spot. Head east back towards a fork in the road. Ditch the Regalia and note a water tower to the north-east. Jump the smaller guard rail (further north it becomes impassable) and head east to the river. Follow the rocky coast north. South of where the river splits on the western side, look for the fourth frog in a V-shaped depression near a boulder.
    5. Fort Vaullerey Rainbow Frog: Travel to Fort Vaullerey Parking Spot. Head south to the southern edge of Fort Vaullerey. Turn west and leap the guard rail towards the river. Reach the coast, turn north, and follow the river until you find a boulder near which the final frog is located.
    • EXP 12,000
    • Safety Bit
    Tips
    • The "Ruler of the Brave Skies" hunt is recommended for obtaining the Griffon Feather if your Hunter Rank is high enough.
    • The wild Griffon encounter is a more challenging alternative if your Hunter Rank is not sufficient for the hunt.
    • The Rainbow Frogs are often found near water, under trees, or near boulders and water towers.
    • Use the map and landmarks like water towers and rock formations to navigate when quest markers are absent.
