Learn all about Moons in Geometry Dash! Discover how to earn them, their uses, and how they contribute to unlocking content in this comprehensive guide.

Moons were introduced in Update 2.2 and are present in Geometry Dash and Geometry Dash Lite. Completing rated platformer levels in normal mode rewards a set number of moons. Moons contribute towards unlocking icons and achievements and progressing paths.

A total of 25 moons can be earned from completing official content:

1. 25 moons are rewarded for completing Tower levels, with each level rewarding 5-7 moons.
   • Geometry Dash Lite rewards 25 moons from this method.

Moons can also be obtained by beating User Levels.

• Unrated levels reward 0 moons.
• Auto levels reward 1 moon each.
• Easy levels reward 2 moons each.
• Normal levels reward 3 moons each. (5 moons for main levels)
• Hard levels reward 4-5 moons each. (6 moons for main levels)
• Harder levels reward 6-7 moons each. (7 moons for main levels)
• Insane levels reward 8-9 moons each.
• Demon levels reward 10 moons each, regardless of sub-difficulty.

Moons can be viewed from the Icon Kit and stats record. Moons are visible to other players from a user profile and from the Leaderboards.
