To speed up decomposition, select a Hell Hound and have it patrol the Graveyard. The Hell Hound's actions will accelerate the process.

Tips

Even if you are not specifically trying to create Vampires, building a Graveyard is recommended. Dead bodies in your dungeon can negatively affect the morale of your creatures, making them sad and annoyed, with the exception of the Horned Reaper and the Vampire.
