Exit to the right and proceed to the Galbadia Hotel. Rent a room for 100G. Inside your room, search under the upper-left corner of the middle bed to find Timber Maniacs 12.

Leave the hotel and exit the street to the left. Run down the next street on the left side. Look for a man in black standing next to the road, just above the bus stop. Challenge him to cards and play until he uses his Kiros card. Win this card from him.

The Kiros card can be refined into three Accelerator items using Card Mod. Each Accelerator can be refined into 100 Haste spells, or used to teach GFs the Auto-Haste ability, which grants Haste at the start of every battle. It is recommended to teach Quezacotl, Shiva, and Ifrit Auto-Haste. You may need to use Amnesia Greens to forget redundant abilities to make room.

Cross the street to the right and find the Deling City Junk Shop under a purple sign with flashing yellow text. This shop allows weapon upgrades.

Discussing Irvine's weapons, here are the upgrade options:

• Valiant: Requires Screw x4, Steel Pipe x1. Cost: 100G. Stats: Str 12, Hit% 105%.

Ulysses: Requires Bomb Fragment x1, Screw x2, Steel Pipe x1. Cost: 200G. Stats: Str 15, Hit% 108%.

Bismarck: Requires Dynamo Stone x4, Screw x8, Steel Pipe x2. Cost: 400G. Stats: Str 20, Hit% 110%.

Exeter: Requires Dino Bone x2, Moon Stone x1, Screw x18, Star Fragment x2. Cost: 800G. Stats: Str 25, Hit% 115%.

From the shopping strip area, head down to exit the screen to the Presidential Residence area. Continue right and exit to reach a screen with a bridge. Exit left across the bridge to find a lit walkway with a Thundara draw point.
