Walkthrough

    Exit Balamb Garden and head right to Fisherman's Horizon.

    On the walkway around the silo, find a hard-to-see ladder on the left side.

    Climb down the ladder to a lower walkway.

    Head left and up to find another ladder.

    Climb up and exit to another screen.

    Talk to the Master Fisherman sitting at the edge of a crane-like structure.

    Answer his dialogue as you wish; he will give you Occult Fan III.

    Talk to the Master Fisherman again to receive his errand: find his pupil at the docks.

    Return to the walkway above the silo and head right.

    Take the elevator down with the operator named "Familiar Face".

    After the elevator ride, head right one screen, then continue right overlooking the solar dish.

    Continue right to find a Save Point and a Regen draw point.

    Exit right one more time.

    Head to the screen with tracks running above the water.

    Ignore the inn to the upper left for now.

    Use a dock to exit right to the next screen.

    Head up to the end of another dock and talk to the boy, "Fisherkid", on a boat.

    Keep talking to the Fisherkid until he repeats himself. Respond with "Sort of", "I saw him", and "I was sort of… impressed", in that order.

    After the Fisherkid's dialogue, talk to the old shopkeeper who runs the FH Junk Shop.

    Use a Shell draw point nearby.

    Exit back to the left.

  • The ladders to reach the Master Fisherman are difficult to spot due to their color and the low resolution.
  • The Fisherkid has multiple skits involving the shopkeeper. Keep talking to the Fisherkid until he starts repeating himself to trigger the correct dialogue sequence.
