Deep in the Dark

Guide to Final Fantasy XIII's 'Deep in the Dark' section. Learn how to defeat Hoplites and Boxed Phalanx, and ride Atomos to optional areas.

Walkthrough:

1. Defeat the Hoplites blocking your path.
2. Defeat the Boxed Phalanx.
3. Continue to the waypoint.
4. Defeat the Juggernaut that stops Atomos.
5. Board Atomos to travel.
6. Upon reaching your destination, turn around and board Atomos again to access optional areas.
7. Alternatively, carry on towards the waypoint to skip optional areas.

Tips:

• The Hoplites and Boxed Phalanx are familiar enemies.
