Your Final Fantasy XIII walkthrough for Chapter 9: Navigate the Crew Corridors, find the Lifesaber, Ember Ring, and Pandoran Spear, and defeat tough enemies.

Alright, so you've made it to the Crew Corridors in Chapter 9. It's a bit of a maze with some tough fights, but don't worry, I'll guide you through it. First things first, after you save your game, you'll see a group of Raiders ahead. Take 'em out, then keep pushing forward a bit. You'll run into a pack of Infiltrators and a Huntress. These guys can be a pain because they buff themselves up right at the start. It's usually best to focus on the weaker enemies first to thin the herd before dealing with the Huntress.

Keep following the marker to your right. You'll find a shiny new weapon for Lightning called the Lifesaber tucked away in a corner. Grab it – it makes Raise even more potent, which is super handy. After that, clear out the next group of enemies you encounter. Now, hang a left and get ready for a fight with some Vikings. On their own, Vikings aren't too scary. They're weak to the Launch ability, so if you can Stagger them quickly, they're pretty much done for. While they can be affected by status ailments, it's not really worth the time; just go for the Stagger.

Keep moving forward and grab the Ember Ring from the Sphere. Once you've got that, turn around to face the PSICOM soldiers. When you're up against a couple of Huntresses and Raiders, try using Diversity to wear them down before switching to Relentless Assault to finish them off. Just keep following this corridor all the way around, taking out any enemies in your path. You'll eventually reach two Huntresses and another Viking. It's a good idea to take out the Huntresses first before you focus on the robot. Finally, you'll find the Pandoran Spear, a weapon for Fang that boosts debuff effectiveness. Snag it, and then head through the door to move on.
