Find the Kuza Beast in final fantasy xvi's Balmung Dark, Waloed. Reward: 15,000 Gil, 35 Renown. Unlock requires completing side quests.

Kuza Beast Abilities and Attacks:

• Comet: Two comets strike, followed by shockwaves. Counter with Titanic Block.
• Spin: A quick 360-degree spin. Counter by dodging backward.
• Charge: Kuza slams his shoulder and charges in a straight line. Counter by running or dodging out of the path.
• Swipe: Claws swipe directly in front. Counter by dodging or using Titanic Block.
• Lunge: Jumps towards you. Counter by stepping or dodging to the side.
• Tail Whip: Whips tail side to side. Counter by stepping backward.

Recommended Abilities for the Kuza Beast:

• Titan: Titanic Block (blocks damage), Windup (high Damage and Will).
• Shiva: Diamond Dust (high Will damage), Cold Snap (freezes Kuza).
• Bahamut: Gigaflare (high Damage and Will).
• Odin: Rift Slip (immediate recovery after ability use), Dancing Steel (high Damage and Will).

Combining Odin's Dancing Steel with Rift Slip allows for quick damage and recovery. Using Gigaflare on Shiva can hold Kuza in place. Shiva's Cold Snap can freeze the beast, providing an opening for attacks. Titan's Titanic Block is crucial for mitigating damage from Comet shockwaves.
