After a series of cutscenes in The Hideaway, head to Cid’s Solar on the western edge of the map. Following more scenes, you will be given your next destination. Speak with Charon and Otto; Otto will introduce you to the Alliant Reports system, which helps track side quests by region. Several side quests are available at this point: Welcoming Committee, Dying on the Vine, While the Cat’s Away, Needs of the Many, and Red Letter Day. You can also find side quests by looking for green exclamation points on your map. To access the Alliant Reports menu, speak with the Lank-Locked Bearer in The Hideout.

When ready, speak with Gav, exit The Hideout, and fast travel to The Dragon’s Aery obelisk in Lostwing.

Walkthrough

    From The Dragon’s Aery, head west through The Holy Hand gateway into Claireview.

    Your destination is Northreach, located at the northern end of Claireview. You can explore Claireview to find three treasure chests.

    Chest 1: Search the southernmost edge of Claireview near a river. A Dragon Aevis guards a chest containing a Goblin Coin, Black Blood, and 10x Pinches of Magicked Ash.

    Chest 2: In the Advent subregion on the western edge of Claireview, defeat Raptors. Search the westernmost edge of the glade for a chest with Black Blood, 10x Chunks of Wyrrite, and 10x Sharp Fangs.

    Chest 3: Head north from Advent onto “The Old Road.” Follow it west to a stone bridge, then turn northeast. Defeat the Dragon Aevis guarding a chest containing a Griffin’s Head Braid.

    To advance the main quest, head to Northreach and approach the obelisk on the eastern edge of the camp. Look for a woman in a white and purple dress to trigger a scene.

    You will engage in several walk-and-talk sequences, eventually leading you outside a brothel named The Veil in the southeastern part of town.

    Speak with Isabella outside The Veil to initiate the subquest **The Dame**. She will ask you to find a missing courtesan named Tatienne.

    To find Tatienne:
    • Talk to a Veil Courtesan west of The Veil.

    Head southeast and talk to Tatienne’s Chambermate near a pond.
