Shadow in the West

To start Shadow in the West, complete the side quest Shadow From the Past and the main quest The Embassy.

Travel to the ancient ruins known as Shadow’s Reach, located southwest of Barren Light.

Eliminate the Eclipse Cultists and three Scrappers outside the base. Use Silent Strikes to deal with them efficiently, especially the Scrappers with plasma attacks and the Eclipse Punisher armed with a Deathbringer Gun.

Find Yef on scaffolding near some gear. He will lower a ladder to help you infiltrate the base.

Climb the scaffolding and follow it southeast, then southwest. Scan the Failsafe audio datapoint near some wreckage.

Crawl under the wreckage, kill the guard at the watchpost to the left, and loot the cache for the Whisper Hunter Bow.

Continue southwest along a wooden walkway, then climb up to reach the palisade walls.

Head west to a ruined tank, then northwest to find a hole in the wall to infiltrate the base.

Inside, defeat the remaining cultists and the Longlegs. Utilize stealth and environmental hazards like log stacks, suspended platforms, and blaze containers.

In the northwestern corner of the camp, find a door. Enter and free the captives.

Inside their cage, scan the Bad Way to Go audio datapoint.

Go through the door in the southwestern corner of the room to confront Vezreh.

Defeat the downgraded Ravager by targeting its weakpoints: the belly-mounted Sparker or the back-mounted Glowblast Canisters. The Ravager is weak to Purgewater and Acid damage.

After defeating the Ravager, confront Vezreh, who will use the Ravager Cannon. Stay behind cover and avoid staying in the open.
