Walkthrough
- 1Head southwest of The Base to a desert area and search the eastern edge for a pagoda-like structure called The Tower of Tears.
- 2Find a Campfire and a ladder on the eastern edge of The Tower of Tears. Climb the ladder and go through a tarp to trigger a scene.
- 3After the conversation, you can speak with Stemmur and Abandund. Abandund sells the [Adhesive Warrior Bow], [Icestorm Boltblaster], [Thunderbolt Shredder Gauntlet], and [Oseram Striker].
- 4To recover the Compressed Air Capsule, head west from The Tower of Tears through a doorway to a flooded shaft. Dive down and retrieve the capsule from Morlund’s diving apparatus.
- 5To gather the required machine parts, head to a search area south of The Tower of Tears. Scan the area and follow a trail southeast to locate a machine herd.
- 6You will be intercepted by Purgewater Canister Burrowers and a Frost Glinthawk. Defeat them or sneak past. Scan for tracks and follow them north, then east to ruins.
- 7In the ruins, you will encounter two Leapslashers, a [Longlegs], and a [Frost Bellowback]. The Longlegs and Frost Bellowback have the components you need. Loot them for a Synthetic Membrane and a Machine Knee Cap.
- 8Return to Morlund at The Tower of Tears with the collected parts.
- 9Use the nearby Workbench to craft the Diving Mask under the “Special Gear” category using the Compressed Air Capsule, Synthetic Membrane, and Machine Knee Cap.
- 10To search for POSEIDON in Dunehollow, enter the flooded shaft to the west and dive to the bottom. Head through an opening on the eastern wall.
- 11In the first room, find the Where it Started and Stanley Chen: Looking Back datapoints. Continue east through a circular doorway.
- 12In the next large room with a dragon suspended from the roof, swim to the bottom and go through a door to the east.
- 13In the subsequent massive room, you will encounter a [Tideripper]. You cannot defeat it in the water. Swim east into its chamber, keeping your camera panned south to spot a red glowing light at the bottom.
- 14Swim down to the red light and activate the operable console.
- 15Swim up through a hole to the southwest to find a room patrolled by a [Snapmaw] and Tracker-Burrowers. Avoid detection by hiding in seaweed.
- 16Your goal is a hole in the floor along the southeastern corner of the room. Once you reach it, the machines cannot pursue you.
- 17In the next room, swim through a pipe to the east, then surface to find your objective out of reach. Swim north under a raised sluice gate to find a ladder.
- 18Climb the ladder and open the pump valve.
- 19Ignite some Firegleam to the south for extra loot, then jump back into the water.
- 20Find the hole leading to the second pump.

- Abandund sells several weapons and armor pieces, including the [Adhesive Warrior Bow], [Icestorm Boltblaster], [Thunderbolt Shredder Gauntlet], and [Oseram Striker].
