Plasma Boltblaster (Rare)

The Plasma Boltblaster is a Rare Oseram weapon in Horizon Forbidden West that fires Plasma Bolts, dealing Plasma Damage and Plasma Buildup. It can be upgraded to use Advanced Bolts and gains bonuses when firing from higher ground.

How to Get: Purchase from the Scalding Spear Hunter for 549 Metal Shards and 1 Sunwing Circulator.

How to Use: Best against larger machines susceptible to Plasma Damage, like the Slitherfang. Apply Plasma Bolts to build up Plasma Damage over Time (DoT), then switch to Advanced Bolts for increased Ranged Damage before the Plasma explodes.

Upgrades:

• Rank I: Increased Weapon Stats, 1x Perk Improvement. Cost: Metal Shards x75, Braided Wire x2, Small Machine Core x2.
• Rank II: Increased Weapon Stats, 1x Perk Improvement. Cost: Metal Shards x112, Braided Wire x2, Sunwing Shield Caster x1, Snapmaw Sac Webbing x1.
• Rank III: Increased Weapon Stats, Unlocks New Ammo. Cost: Metal Shards x160, Braided Wire x3, Medium Machine Core x2, Sunwing Circulator x1.
• Rank IV: Increased Weapon Stats, 1x Perk Improvement, Unlock Coil Slot. Cost: Metal Shards 250, Braided Wire x6, Medium Machine Core x3, Sunwing Primary Nerve x1, Rockbreaker Mining Claw x6.
