Where to Get It: You can buy the Explosive Tripcaster from a Hunter merchant. There's one at Barren Light, and another at the Hunting Grounds in The Daunt. Both are accessible pretty early on. You'll need 149 Metal Shards for it, but don't worry about hunting specific machines for parts just yet.
