Berries can be found all over Hoenn in the game. When you pick up a berry, you'll get two of them. Be sure to plant at least one of them in the soil and water it with the Wailmer Pail. That way, over time, new berries will be grown and you can come back for them. Now you can do this over and over again.

Also, some berries have no effect. But any type of berry can be used to make Pokeblocks to feed your Pokemon for the Pokemon contests. Just make sure your Pokemon has a nature that likes certain flavors and make sure you're using the right berries so you can get the best results.
