Walkthrough
- 1Heal your Pokemon at the Pokemon Center.
- 2Talk to the man left of the Pokemon Center; say yes to receive a King's Rock (evolves Poliwhirl into Politoed and Slowpoke into Slowking when traded).
- 3Enter the house left of the Pokemon Center to find a boy who knows your secret base location.
- 4Visit the house above the Pokemon Center to learn about your lead Pokemon's Pokeblock preference.
- 5Go to the house south of the Pokemart to access mini-games with friends.
- 6From the Pokemart, head east and down the first set of stairs to pick up a Net Ball.
- 7Go back up the stairs and head east to find another set of stairs. Talk to Scott, who is to the right.
- 8Enter the house to your right. After the Wingull leaves, talk to the girl to learn about its purpose. You can later return to Fortree City to get a Mental Herb from the boy in the house there.
- 9Head north and west from the previous house to find another house. Talk to the fishing guru and say yes to receive the Super Rod.
- 10Note the space center to the right of the fishing guru's house, where Team Magma is active, but cannot be dealt with yet.
- 11Head north of the Pokemart to find the Pokemon Gym.
Pokemon Gym - Tate & Liza (Psychic-type)
The gym features double battles and a puzzle involving switches and statues to reach warp panels.
- Gym Trainers & Puzzle:
- The gym's trainers are Psychic Preston (Kirlia L36, $864) and Psychic Maura (Kadabra L36, $864). Stepping on the yellow switch triggers a double battle against both.
- In the next room, you'll find Psychic Blake (Girafarig L36, $864) and Psychic Samantha (Xatu L36, $864). Use the yellow switch to align trainers for a double battle.
- After moving the statue, proceed through the new path. You'll find two warp panels; ignore them and warp back to the starting area.
- From the gym's entrance, take the warp on the left. This will trigger a yellow switch.
- You'll arrive in front of Gentleman Clifford (Girafarig L36, $864) and Hax Maniac Kathleen (Kadabra L36, $864), resulting in an unavoidable double battle.
- Proceed past the purple switch. Head south to a green switch. Step on it twice to move statues to your left.
- Go back up to battle the last trainer you missed. You will have tripped the switch a second time.
- Find the warp panel near Psychic Nicholas (Wobbuffet L36, $864). Before using it, step on the switch twice, then use the warp panel.
- You will return to an area with a warp panel to the left; take it.
- In this room, step on the blue switch to initiate a double battle against Psychic Virgil (Ralts L36, $864) and Gentleman Nate.

- After defeating all trainers and navigating the gym, you will face Gym Leaders Tate and Liza.
