Find Blue, Green, Red, and Yellow Shards, Heart Scales, Shoal Salt, and Shoal Shells in Pokemon Emerald. Learn where to find them and what they trade for.

Blue Shard

You can trade a Blue Shard for a Water Stone to the hunter on Route 124. You can find Blue Shards on Route 124 or use the move Thief or Covet on a wild Clamperl to steal one.

Green Shard

You can trade a Green Shard for a Leaf Stone to the hunter on Route 124. You can find Green Shards on Route 126 or use the move Thief or Covet to steal one from a wild Relicanth.

Heart Scale

Give Heart Scales to the move tutor in Fallarbor Town, and he will teach your Pokemon a move they forgot by leveling up. The only way to get Heart Scales is to use Thief or Covet on a wild Luvdisc; they are common on Luvdisc.

Red Shard

You can trade a Red Shard for a Fire Stone to the hunter on Route 124. You can find Red Shards on Route 124 or use the move Thief or Covet on a wild Corsola to steal one.

Shoal Salt

You need to find four Shoal Salts in the Shoal Cave. After you have four Shoal Salts and four Shoal Shells, you can give them to the man in the Shoal Cave to receive a Shell Bell. There are four Shoal Salts scattered around the cave, but you can only access them during Low Tide.

Shoal Shell

You need to find four Shoal Shells in the Shoal Cave. After you have four Shoal Shells and four Shoal Salts, you can give them to the man in the Shoal Cave to receive a Shell Bell. There are four Shoal Shells scattered around the cave, but you can only access them during High Tide.

Yellow Shard

You can trade a Yellow Shard for a Thunderstone to the hunter on Route 124. You can find Yellow Shards on Route 124 or use the move Thief or Covet on a wild Chinchou to steal one.
