Finding Team Magma's Hideout

From Lavaridge Town, travel east and jump over ledges, then head north to the cable car leading to Mt. Chimney. Alternatively, start at Route 123, go west to Mauville City, north to Routes 111 and 112, then take the cable car.

Battle trainers in Mt. Chimney: Beauty Shirley (Numel Lvl 21, $1680), Beauty Shelia (Shroomish Lvl 21, $1680), Expert Shelby (Meditite Lvl 21, Makuhita Lvl 21, $840), Beauty Melissa (Marill Lvl 21, $1680) and Hiker Sawyer (Geodude Lvl 21, $840). A team battle between Melissa and Sawyer yields $2520.

After defeating the trainers, head south into Jagged Pass.

With the Magma Emblem, the ground will shake, forming an opening on a wall where a Team Magma member was previously seen. Enter this opening to find Magma Hideout.

Inside Magma Hideout, prepare for wild Pokemon like Geodude (Very Common), Torkoal (Common), and Graveler (Uncommon). Consider using repels.

In the first area, battle the Team Magma Grunt (Poochyena Lvl 29, $580).

Ensure you have a Pokemon with the move Strength. Follow the path to three boulders in a triangle formation. Push the bottom boulder left, then the top-left boulder left to create an opening.

Follow the path to another Team Magma Grunt (Numel Lvl 29, $580). Continue following the path to an opening and enter it.

In the next area, battle trainers: Team Magma Grunt (Mightyena Lvl 29, $580), Team Magma Grunt (Baltoy Lvl 28, Numel Lvl 28, $560), and Team Magma Grunt (Baltoy Lvl 28, Zubat Lvl 28, $560).

Enter the room, go right to stairs, head down, and battle the Team Magma Grunt. Continue left and battle another Team Magma Grunt.

Head south down stairs to find two Team Magma Grunts; battle both. Continue down the next set of steps, then small steps west.

Enter the optional room to the north. Battle Team Magma Grunt (Numel Lvl 29, $580) and Team Magma Grunt (Mightyena Lvl 29, $1160) in a forced team battle. Battle Team Magma Grunt (Zubat Lvl 29, $580) and Team Magma Grunt (Poochyena Lvl 29, $580).

Backtrack to the previous room, head down the steps in front of you to find another entrance.

In the next room, head north up steps to battle two Team Magma Grunts in a forced team battle. Pick up the Full Restore.

Head back down the steps and east. Go up another set of steps and battle both Team Magma Grunts (no double battle possible). Pick up the Max Elixir. Head back down the stairs.

Continue right to the last set of steps. Head up them to an entrance. Battle the Team Magma Grunt (Zubat Lvl 29, $580) and follow the path to a Rare Candy.

Backtrack to the room with the four Team Magma Grunts. Head down the steps in front of you to find another entrance.

In this room, head all the way left to battle a Team Magma Grunt (Zubat Lvl 29, $580). Head down the steps and all the way right to an entrance.

Enter the optional room. Battle the Team Magma Grunt (Mightyena Lvl 29, $580) in the northeast corner. Pick up the PP Max to the left.

Go back to the previous room and head down the stairs to fight the other trainer. Battle the Team Magma Grunt (Baltoy Lvl 29, $580).

Head left across the small path to find an entrance. Pick up the Nugget to the north before entering.

In the final room, battle Team Magma Grunt (Baltoy Lvl 29, $580) and Team Magma Grunt (Numel Lvl 29).
