Tips
  • Sunkern can evolve into Sunflora with a Sun Stone, improving its stats significantly, especially its special attack.
  • Mareep evolves into Flaffy at Level 15 and Ampharos at Level 30. They have good special attack but low speed, making Thunder Wave useful.
  • Aipom has decent speed but lacks good stats to utilize its moveset effectively and does not evolve.
  • Spinarak evolves into Ariados at level 22. Its Poison typing can be a weakness against Psychic-types.
  • Hoothoot evolves into Noctowl at level 20. The Hypnosis/Dream Eater combo can be effective.
  • Snubbull evolves into Granbull, but neither has strong stats.
  • Stantler excels in Attack and Speed but requires TMs for a good moveset.
  • Gligar has a 4x weakness to Ice and does not learn any Ground moves by leveling up, making it difficult to use effectively despite its immunity to Electric-type attacks.
  • Wooper evolves into Quagsire, which has improved stats but lower speed.
  • Remoraid evolves into Octillery at Level 25. At Level 22, it learns Bubblebeam, Aurora Beam, and Psybeam. Its speed is below average.
  • Teddiursa evolves into Ursaring at Level 30 and can learn powerful attacks like Thrash.
  • Ledyba evolves into Ledian at Level 15. While it has defensive moves, its attack stat is too low to be effective.
  • Pineco evolves into Foretress at Level 31, gaining Bug/Steel typing and excellent defense. It learns powerful moves but has low longevity.
  • Houndour evolves into Houndoom at level 24. It has good special attack and speed, making it effective against Bug, Grass, Ghost, Ice, and Psychic types.
