Track down Lindsey Wofford in Red Dead Redemption 2. This guide covers his location, how to deal with his men, and bringing him back to Saint Denis.

Alright, so you've finished up that 'Good, Honest, Snake Oil' mission and now you're ready for another bounty. This one's for Lindsey Wofford, and you'll find the poster for him in the Saint Denis sheriff's office. It's in the southeastern part of the map, on the west side of town. Just a heads-up, you can bring Lindsey in dead or alive, but you'll get a little Honor boost if you manage to keep him breathing. Either way, the cash reward is the same. Make sure you've got some good weapons and plenty of health and Dead Eye tonics stocked up, because you're going to be dealing with a good number of enemies to get to him.

So, where is this Lindsey Wofford hiding? Head over to the Van Horn Trading Post on the eastern coast. From there, look southwest, near where the Kamassa River is marked on your map. You'll see a larger building there – that's Fort Brennand. It's not much of a fort anymore, but it's where Lindsey and his crew are holed up. When you get there, you won't see anyone from the outside, so you'll need to head inside for Lindsey and his men to spawn.

As soon as you get inside, take cover. You'll notice Lindsey's icon on the map is special, so you'll always know his general location. Keep an eye out for a gatling gun on the upper level; one of Lindsey's guys will hop on it, and you'll want to get him off that thing ASAP. This is also a good time to decide if you're going for dead or alive. His regular goons aren't super important, so focus on clearing them out to make things easier for yourself.

Using Dead Eye here will be a massive help, but it's not strictly necessary if you've got good aim and health items. After you take down the initial group, more enemies will come in from the north, so be ready for that. Lindsey usually hangs out in the southwestern tower. Once you've dealt with everyone else, you can decide how you want to handle him. If you're aiming to bring him in alive, use the ramp on the eastern side to get to the upper level. Then, carefully sneak your way over to Lindsey and knock him out with your fists.

Once you've got Lindsey secured, load him onto your horse and start heading back to Saint Denis. Be aware that on your way back, you might run into some other bounty hunters who are after Lindsey themselves. You can either fight them off or just keep riding and ignore them – just keep an eye on your health. When you finally get back to Saint Denis, bring Lindsey to the sheriff's office. If he's alive, put him in the cells. If he's dead, you'll need to place his body out back where the marker is. Report to the chief's desk to collect your reward of $100. You'll also get some Honor if you brought him in alive.
