First things first, head over to John’s house at Pronghorn Ranch. You'll find Abigail waiting there to kick off the mission. She'll suggest you take young Jack along to grab the mail from Strawberry. Hop in the wagon and follow the marker on your map.

Once you're on the road, John decides it's time for a lesson and hands the reins over to Jack. Just cruise along until you reach Strawberry. When you get there, get out of the wagon and head into the Post Office to sort out the mail.

Back on the wagon, John's at it again, letting Jack take the wheel for the trip back to the ranch. Now, here's a cool part: you can actually influence Jack's driving. Just target him and use the corresponding buttons to make him speed up or slow down. Keep an eye on him!

Along the way back, you'll notice someone's tailing you. John will spot it and tell Jack to pull over near a fallen tree. As John goes to confront the three men who show up, don't bother trying to talk your way out of it – it's not going to work. Instead, immediately activate Dead Eye. You absolutely need to score a headshot on all three of them in a single Dead Eye sequence to meet the Gold Medal requirement.

After that little scuffle, if you're aiming for the Gold Medal, you'll want to skip the following cutscene as fast as possible. Now comes the real challenge: you need to race back to Pronghorn Ranch. The time limit is super tight – 1 minute and 30 seconds. You'll have to cut corners wherever you can and really push it to make it back on time.
