The Smell of the Grease Paint

Open your map and look southwest of the Trading Post for a marker across the Kamassa River, north of “Maclean’s House.” This is where Magnifico will be camping.

Approach the white circle and find the campfire. Magnifico will speak to you and then run off.

Give chase. Magnifico will throw smoke bombs, but his location will be visible on your minimap (the small circular map in the bottom-left corner of your screen).

When you reach the river, he will be across it. Continue the chase.

Three puffs of smoke will appear. Investigate each one.

The chase will resume and go cold in a clearing. Search the clearing for Magnifico; he will reveal himself if you take too long. He is in a tree on the northern side of the highlighted area.

Resume the chase. Magnifico will evade you by appearing on the other side of an oncoming train. Wait for the train to pass.

Run after Magnifico again. Marjorie and Bertram will ride up on their wagon.

With Bertram’s help, Magnifico will rejoin the troupe, ending the side mission.

Head to the theater in Saint Denis and tell the ticket taker you are there for Marjorie.

You will receive a free ticket to their show. Watch the show if you wish.

After the show, return to the ticket taker to receive $40.00 and a Letter from Miss Marjorie.
