A Really Big Bastard

Start the mission by speaking with Abigail at the ranch.

After the cutscene, head out with Sadie towards Tall Trees. Follow her until you reach a mangled camp.

Dismount your horse and examine the camp. Sadie will point you in the direction the bounty fled.

Activate Eagle Eye and follow the tracks southeast until you reach a cabin.

Dismount and enter the cabin to find the remains of a bounty hunter.

After the following cutscene, you'll automatically enter Dead Eye as a bear charges. You need to land at least four hits on the bear before it reaches you. It doesn't matter where you hit it, just that the shots connect.

The bear will then maul John. Rapidly press the [Circle]/[B] button to break free. Sadie will then scare the bear away.

With the bounty secured on Sadie's horse, begin the ride back to Blackwater.

Along the way, two rival bounty hunters will block your path. Before Sadie can react, enter Dead Eye and headshot both of them.

You can now ride back to Blackwater. Sadie will share some information about Micah.
