Alright, let's talk about the 'Explosion' attack you'll encounter. It's mainly associated with a nasty enemy called the Chunk Ooze. When this thing rears up and gets ready to blow, it's a close-range deal and there's no specific dodge timing because it's more of an area-of-effect blast. Just know that getting caught in it will knock you down, so try to keep your distance when you see it happen.

Now, let's move on to a more significant threat: the Globster. These things are pretty gross, basically mutated human carcasses from the T-Abyss virus out at sea. On dry land, they're not too bad. You can handle them from a distance with your handgun or machine gun. They'll drag themselves towards you, but the key is to wait until they lift their front half up, exposing the mouth on their underside. Blast that mouth! A direct hit there will make it yell, and that's your chance to deal even more damage while it's stunned.

The Globster's main attack on land is its mouth, and it telegraphs it pretty clearly. It'll raise its top half and yell right before it lunges, so keep an eye out for that tell. It's a pretty easy shot to hit its mouth when it does this.

Warning: Things get way more dangerous when you encounter Globsters in the water later in the game. If they bite you in the water, it's an instant kill – they'll literally eat your character. Your only option then is to try and stun them with a Pulse Grenade, but the stun doesn't last long at all. Honestly, your best bet is to just avoid them completely if you see one underwater.
