Guide your way through the Casino and Grand Hall in Resident Evil: Revelations to find Shotgun Shells. Learn how to repel the creature attacking the elevator and what weapons to use.

Alright, we're heading into the Casino area now. Don't expect any major surprises here, just backtrack up the stairs and head back into the Grand Hall through those big doors you came through earlier.

As soon as you re-enter the Grand Hall, you'll hear a loud crash. Classic survival horror trope, right? Parker will call you over, so follow him towards the elevator on the south side of the room. He wants to get moving, so let's try to beat him to it!

Head for the elevator, and once you're there, open the doors and hop inside. Hit that button on the control panel to head up to the Observation Deck. Take a moment to enjoy the view of the Grand Hall through the glass – it looks pretty peaceful, doesn't it? Well, that won't last...

Suddenly, you'll hear that noise again! The windows crack, and the elevator is completely wrecked while you're still going up. Oh boy. A creature is going to peek into the elevator from the top. Don't bother trying to shoot it now; it's pointless and a waste of ammo. Just ignore it for the moment.

Objective: Repel the enemy

Pro Tip: This is a good time to use your shotgun. Save your long-range ammo for later, as you'll need it.

Soon, the creature will lower an appendage over the window directly in front of you. This appendage has a weak spot right in the middle. Get your shotgun ready and blast that spot! It seems pretty tender, so keep shooting it. You'll need about three shots to make it pull back up.

Warning: If you don't hit the appendage enough, the creature will smash the elevator with its limb, damaging both Jill and Parker.

Next, it'll lower the appendage over the left window. Blast it again in the center to make it retreat. This is going to keep happening, so just keep blasting the soft spot whenever it lowers its appendage. Sometimes it'll wave it around so the tough side faces you – just wait until you can see the weak spot again before you shoot.

Heads up: When the creature's head peeks into the elevator, don't shoot! Instead, pull out your scanner and scan it. Each scan is worth 50%!

The creature might shake the elevator pretty hard at one point, but don't worry about it – it won't hurt you. Just keep defending the windows. After you've repelled its appendage a few times, it'll give up, and the elevator will continue its ascent.

Once you get to the Observation Hall, step out of the elevator. You'll find some items to your side. There's also a green weapon crate right across from the elevator. Make sure Jill has her Machine Gun AUG with the best damage upgrade, and the shotgun with a damage upgrade too. A rifle could help, but you'll want weapons with a faster firing rate to deal consistent damage for the upcoming fight.
