Alright, so you're facing Abyss and you've encountered its grab attack. It's pretty nasty, but totally manageable once you know what to do. Basically, Abyss will lunge at you from close range, snatch you up, and then try to impale you. Not fun!

Abyss Grab Details:

• Range: Close Range
• Dodge Timing: Right before Abyss grabs you.
• Causes: Knockdown

Now, let's talk about weapons that'll make this fight a lot easier. Having the right tools can turn a tough encounter into a smooth victory.

Recommended Weapons:

• Rocket Launcher: This is your big hitter. It deals a massive 30,000 damage to Abyss. If you can land a rocket early, it'll really enrage Abyss and make him attack more aggressively, but it also significantly shortens the fight. Aim for the weak point after you've weakened him enough – the rocket launcher will absolutely devastate it.
• Machine Gun: With upgrades to damage, rate of fire, and capacity, a machine gun like the P-90 or MP5 is fantastic. While it won't stagger Abyss instantly like a shotgun, enough rapid fire will stagger him. The real beauty here is the spam potential. Once he's staggered, you can unload a torrent of bullets, especially if you can hit his exposed weak point.
• Shotgun: This is your go-to for interrupting Abyss's attacks. A single well-aimed shot at the true Abyss can knock him out of most of his moves. It also deals solid damage per shot. The downside is that its shots aren't as continuous as a machine gun's.
• Magnum/Rifle: Both of these are good for interrupting Abyss's attacks. The magnum has a slower fire rate, but it's excellent for hitting Abyss's weak point. The PSG-1 rifle, if upgraded for damage, rate of fire, and capacity, can be spammed much like a machine gun, making it a very strong contender.
