Understand Resident Evil: Revelations player levels, how they boost stats, enable high-level weapons, and can be lowered.

As you complete stages in Raid Mode (a game mode) and gain XP (experience points), your characters will gain levels. These levels boost your characters' defense and overall attack power. Importantly, all characters share the current level on your save data. This means no matter which character you choose to play as, they will possess the stats corresponding to that shared level.

Gaining levels also grants your characters the ability to use high-level weapons. If you acquire a powerful weapon that requires a higher character level than your current one, you will be unable to use it until your characters have leveled up to match or exceed the weapon's required level.

Player levels can be adjusted downwards through the character menu. By using the corresponding button command displayed at the bottom of the screen, you can lower your characters' levels. Doing so will decrease your character stats back to those associated with the chosen lower level. These lower levels are visible online when you join or host a game.

Tips
  • Focus on completing Raid Mode stages to gain XP and level up your characters efficiently.
  • Be mindful of weapon level requirements; you may need to level up your characters before you can effectively use newly acquired powerful weapons.
  • Consider lowering your level if you want to display a lower progression status to other players online.
