Learn how to defeat the Draghignazzo boss in Resident Evil: Revelations! This guide covers its attacks, weak spots, and strategies for survival.

Alright, you've run into the Draghignazzo! Don't let its looks fool you, this guy's got a pretty predictable pattern, but you still need to be careful, especially when it gets angry.

Stats / Weaknesses:

• The soft spot on the back of its appendage
• The soft spot on its right side (your left)
• The soft spot on its back (top portion) - shooting this will eventually stun it.
• The red soft spot (eye) at the very top of its back - this deals major damage!

Phases:

1. Early Fight: The Draghignazzo has predictable attacks. Use this time to learn its patterns and exploit its weaknesses.
2. Late Fight: After taking significant damage, the Draghignazzo will start to perform its ram attack without warning, making it much more dangerous. Keep your distance and be ready to dodge.

Strategy:

• Shield Ram: When it puts its shield arm down and prepares to dash, run to its right side (your left). You can even try to run under its appendage and to its back, but be quick! Later in the fight, this ram will come out of nowhere, so always be ready to dodge.
• Ground Pound: If it crouches and raises its shield arm, back away immediately. If you're too close, you'll get hit and knocked off balance. Just tap the [Y] button to get back up quickly.
• Turn-Around Strike: Never stand directly behind it when its back is turned. It'll whip around fast with its shield arm. Staying a good distance away from its rear is your best bet.
• Weak Spots: Focus your fire on the soft spots. The top of its back, especially the red eye, is your best target for critical damage. Hitting the back weak spot enough will eventually stun it, leaving it open for some close-range shotgun blasts.
• Weapon Choice: Use the machine gun for consistent damage from a distance, and switch to the shotgun when you stun it or get close.
• Environmental Hazards: There are two explosive canisters in the room. The Draghignazzo might trigger them during its ram attack, stunning itself. You can also shoot them when it's near them for extra damage. Don't bother with hand grenades; they won't stun it.
• Scanning: Don't forget to scan the Draghignazzo! Keep scanning its body until it's outlined in white. You can find useful items like Custom Parts and Ammo this way.

Once you defeat the Draghignazzo, the ladder in the middle of the room will lower, letting you progress.
