Walkthrough

Examine the controls in the center of the room to enter the Authentication Code and begin neutralizing the virus.

Defeat three Oozes that fall from the ceiling by backing up toward the entrance door.

Eliminate Tricorne Oozes in the distance, whether they are on the same platform or across the walkway, to prevent them from firing at Jill.

Prepare for more Oozes and three Scarmigliones to enter the area.

Face the three Scarmigliones by shooting their uncovered areas with your machine gun.

Climb onto the platforms on the north side of the area and lure the Scarmigliones to hop up toward you.

Attack the Scarmigliones as they hop up and land.

If necessary, use pulse grenades to stun the Scarmigliones before hitting them with a charged melee attack.

After the virus is confirmed neutralized, Morgan Lansdale will speak to Chris and Jill, triggering a cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically).

Tips

Fighting Scarmigliones in the open makes you more vulnerable to attack.
Luring the Scarmigliones to hop up to your platform can help you avoid getting hit.
The Charge Shot 2 weapon part will be in the water beside one of the shutters.
