Into The Frozen Wilds

Travel to the northernmost part of the map, beyond the Grave Hoard, to find the Cut. If you've activated a nearby campfire earlier, fast travel there and follow the trail towards the mountain. Watch out for Glinthawks and bandits.

To bypass enemies, sprint towards the snowy slope directly opposite the campfire.

Follow the path until you reach the entrance to the Grave Hoard. Instead of going down, turn left around the rusted tank.

Ahead, you'll see a campfire and a rockface with blue, gleaming crystals. Use the handholds and blue crystals to climb the cliffs.

Halfway up, Sylens will contact you via your Focus, reminding you of your main mission against the Eclipse.

Upon reaching the top, you'll enter a clearing and encounter your first Daemonic machine: the Scorcher.

Scan the Scorcher with your Focus. It's Lv 35 and has two main components: a Power Generator (weak to hardpoint arrows) and two Blaze Canisters (weak to fire and armor break). Its body is weak to Freeze but strong against Shock, Fire, and Corruption.

The Scorcher is a tough opponent. Consider using the Shield Weaver armor if you have it. Aim to destroy the generator on its back with a Tearblaster to significantly damage it, as it's not at full health.

After defeating the Scorcher, proceed up the mountain. Follow the path and blue crystals to a cave entrance.

Enter the cave and make your way through until you reach the Banuk settlement of Song's Edge.

To your right, you'll see a volcano with black smoke. Follow the path through Song's Edge to a campfire (activate it for fast travel).

You'll witness a Banuk ritual and meet Burgrend, who explains their traditions.

Burgrend will tell you about the Daemon and suggest speaking with the shaman, Ourea, for more information. Your next task is to find her apprentice, Naltuk.
