The Greatrun Hunting Grounds are located northwest of the main road. You'll find a merchant and a Campfire here. To complete the trials, you'll need a Carja Ropecaster and the Critical Hit skill. Speak to the Keeper to begin.

Parts Wrangling Trial

The easiest trial. Use the Carja Ropecaster to tie down two Thunderers and shoot off their Processing Units. Use four or five Tie Rope Medium rounds to secure a Thunderer, then use Hard Point arrows from your Shadow Hunter Bow to dislodge its Processing Unit. You may be attacked by other Thunderers and Glinthawks, but you can heal and remain steadfast.

Pace Trial

This trial involves harvesting three Watchers within a time limit. Be quick, as Glinthawks may harvest or fly away with the Watcher if you take too long. Start by taking the southernmost zipline near the keeper, head southwest to a stone column, and ascend to loot the first Watcher. Then, head west-southwest to another column for the second Watcher. The third Watcher is far to the north-northwest on a column with climbable wooden structures.

Tie Down Trial

This trial can be frustrating due to Glinthawks and Tramplers. The Carja Ropecaster is essential; consider the Shadow Ropecaster if you're still struggling. Modding weapons with Tear modifications and equipping Banuk Ice Hunter Heavy armor can help. Ensure you have the Critical Hit skill.

Descend to the lowlands and target a Trampler's Processing Unit (udders) with a well-modded Shadow Hunter Bow and Triple Shot. After destroying it, the Trampler will burn. Speed up the process with arrows. Glinthawks will attack; dodge them and focus on tying down a Glinthawk with the Ropecaster. Get close for a Critical Strike prompt. After the first Critical Hit, tie down the same Glinthawk again for a second Critical Hit. Immediately target another Glinthawk for a third Critical Strike. Dodge attacks from Tramplers and Glinthawks throughout.
