Insult to Injury

Fast travel to the Campfire near Mother’s Rise. If you need to craft Fast Travel Packs, go to the Crafting menu, select Travel, and use Ridge-Wood x15, Fatty Meat x1, and Bony Meat x1.

Head north from the Campfire, then south to find Fia tending to an injured Brave. Talk to her; she needs you to search for Dreamwillow. You can ask her more questions before accepting the quest.

Before searching for the caches, find and destroy Training Dummy XVI south of Fia. Then, head north past a merchant and turn west to find Training Dummy XVII near a fire.

The first Dreamwillow cache is southwest of the Campfire on the road between Mother’s Rise and the Embrace gates. Travel there, go to the large rock formation to the southwest, and use the yellow ropes to climb to the top. Use a zipline to reach a tree platform and search the Supply Cache. It will contain Metal Shards, but no Dreamwillow.

Return to the nearby Campfire. Cross the river to the southeast, then continue east past Grazers towards the quest marker (northeast of the Nora Hunting Grounds).

Near the quest marker, scale rocks to the south-southeast, then turn north-northwest to find logs with yellow ropes. Jump onto the first log, then the second. Turn east and leap to a ledge. Work your way across handholds to a beam, then drop down by pressing [Square]. Turn around, leap to the tree platform, and search the Supply Cache. This cache also contains no Dreamwillow.

Return to Fia and inform her about the missing Dreamwillow. She will tell you that a man named Jun harvests it and lives in the mountains northwest of Mother’s Rise.

Leave Mother’s Rise and follow the road north, past the massacre site, ignoring eastern forks. After the road turns northwest, cross two bridges. You’ll find a Strider Site south of the road and a Campfire north of the road near a ruined hut.

Continue north until the road forks. Turn northwest, then west into the snow-covered mountains. Deal with any machines (Scrappers and Watchers may appear).

Climb a series of ledges to reach a Campfire. Continue uphill to hear Jun crying for help.

Reach Jun's cabin. Loot Supply Crates outside, then go to the eastern side to find the front door. Pry it open ([Triangle]). Jun explains that outcasts stole his Dreamwillow and asks you to pursue them. Agree to help.

Activate your Focus to find and highlight tracks. Follow them northeast, then north. You will spot the outcasts in a valley below, surrounded by Watchers and a Sawtooth. Approaching the edge of the slope will cause you to slide down into the valley.
