Devils Thirst Bandit Camp

From the last Ancient Vessel, follow the road north to find the Devil’s Thirst Bandit Camp.

Before crossing the bridge to the camp, head west along the river.

When the river forks, swim west across it. Turn north and swim across the next stream.

Head uphill to the west to find an NPC (non-player character — anyone the game controls, not you) named Nil.

Continue west past Nil to find a pile of Ancient Debris containing the “Ancient Vessel - DroneHop” collectible.

Return to Nil and accept his offer to help clear the camp.

Nil will point out the camp's alarm and prisoners. Prioritize destroying the alarm.

Circle around to the northern end of the camp. Look through the gate to find the alarm mechanism (a bladder-like object). Destroy it with arrows to prevent reinforcements.

The rest of the camp requires you to kill every Bandit. Use the Sharpshot Bow for its range and accuracy, or utilize your Focus to mark enemy locations.

If spotted, Nil may assist, but be aware you are only one strong attack away from death.

Infiltrate the central structure to eliminate enemies inside.

Free prisoners on the eastern end of the camp if you choose.

Once all Bandits are eliminated, the camp will become a safe settlement.

Return to Nil, who is located west of the camp, and speak with him.

After speaking with Nil, return to the camp. You can loot Bandits, find Supply Crates in the central structure, and discover another pile of Ancient Debris on a balcony southwest of the northern entrance to the same building.

You can also interact with a Campfire, speak with Jom about allowing outcasts to stay, trade with a merchant, and find a Training Dummy (Training Dummy XX) near the southern gate.

To find the “Vantage Point - Explorer Museum” collectible, exit the camp via the northern gate and follow the road northwest until you see a column of rocks. Climb the rocks on the northern side to find a Supply Crate and the Vantage Point. View the hologram with [R3] and listen to the audio with [Triangle].

To find the “Banuk Figurine - My Claim” collectible, backtrack to the northern gate of the Devil’s Thirst Bandit Camp and follow the road northeast. Continue east at the fork near the mountains until the trail ends at the mountains.
