- 1Speak with Talanah at the Hunters Lodge to accept the errand.
- 2Hunt a Thunderjaw, preferably west of Cut-Cliffs near a campfire.
- 3Use Tearblast Arrows or the Tearblaster to break off its Disc Launchers and Radar.
- 4Pick up the Disc Launchers to use as weapons against the Thunderjaw.
- 5Target the Blaze and Freeze Canisters on its body to deal major damage.
- 6Use the Shadow Ropecaster to immobilize the Thunderjaw for easier attacks.
- 7Hunt a Stormbird, preferably outside the western exit of Daytower.
- 8Use Resist Shock Potions to mitigate its shock-based attacks.
- 9Destroy the Lightning Gun on its chest to disable ranged shock attacks.
- 10Target the Blaze and Freeze Canisters on its back.
- 11Use the Tearblaster or Tearblast Arrows to destroy the six Engines on its wings.
