Need help with the Demand and Supply Errand in Horizon Zero Dawn? Learn the quickest ways to get Snapmaw and Longleg Lenses, whether by hunting or buying them.

Alright, so you've stumbled upon a bit of a spat down at the Meridian docks. Two guys are arguing, and naturally, they rope you into fetching some machine parts for them. One wants a Snapmaw Lens, the other a Longleg Lens. Annoying, right? But hey, it's a quick way to get some XP and a decent reward box.

Now, before you go charging off into the wilderness, there's a super easy shortcut here. If you're in Meridian and have about 650 Metal Shards to spare (330 for the Snapmaw Lens and 320 for the Longleg Lens), you can just buy them from the Machine Resources merchant. Seriously, it's the fastest way to wrap this up and get back to the main quest.

But if you're feeling brave, or maybe you're short on shards, you can totally hunt them down yourself. The game gives you markers, but honestly, there are better spots.

Hunting Snapmaws: Head out the northeastern exit of Meridian. Keep going until you hit the first split in the road, then veer southeast. You'll find a campfire there, and just northeast of that is a Snapmaw site. These big guys can be a pain with their Blaze Canisters. Your Sharpshot Bow is your friend here – use it to break that protective covering, then hit 'em with a fire arrow. That'll do some serious damage.

Hunting Longlegs: For Longlegs, there's a spot that's way better than the one the quest marker points to. Take the northern exit from Meridian and just keep heading straight north when the path splits. This takes you to Cut-Cliffs. Follow the path northeast, and you'll find a campfire with a Longleg site right nearby. Longlegs HATE shock damage, so if you've got shock arrows, use 'em. If not, Shock Wires are your next best bet. The key here is to take them down fast before they can call for backup.

Once you've got both the Snapmaw Lens and the Longleg Lens, just head back to those two arguing fellas in Meridian Village. Hand over the goods, and you'll get your reward.
