    Return to the western Campfire and head northwest to reach Daytower.

    Defeat the Corrupted Watchers, Corrupted Scrapper, and Corruptor attacking the gates. Prioritize lesser machines or use Fire Arrows. The Carja guards on the wall will assist with the Corruptor.

    Approach the gates to enter Daytower. This completes “A Seeker at the Gates” and starts “The City of the Sun”.

    Upon entering, speak with the Carja Guard who directs you to Balahn, the fort’s commander.

    Head north through a gate to find a Campfire, then continue uphill north through an arch to reach the main plaza.

    Along the northern end of the plaza, find a Merchant selling new weapons.

New Weapons Available:

  • Carja Blast Sling (400 Metal Shards, 1 Luminous Braiding): Fires Sticky Bombs with a five-second fuse.
  • Carja Rattler (250 Metal Shards, 10 Rich Meat, 5 Fatty Meat, 5 Bony Meat): Fires Shock bolts in addition to Metal Bolts.
  • Carja Ropecaster (200 Metal Shards, 6 Echo Shell): Uses Tie Rope Medium ammo, which secures enemies faster than the light version.
  • Carja War Bow (300 Metal Shards, 2 Slagshine Glass): Adds the Freeze Arrow, effective against large machines and providing a x3 damage bonus when enemies are frozen.
  • Shadow Hunter Bow (650 Metal Shards, 1 Watcher Heart): Fires Hardpoint Arrows with increased Impact and Tear damage. Features three modification slots for stacking damage mods.
