Learn about No Heart's attacks like Dark Giga Flare and Binding Blast, plus Bestiary stats for Kingdom Hearts II.
Walkthrough
- 1Invitation to Darkness: Avoid standing in the large pool of dark energy. Using the "Darkness Outflow" command inflicts status effects: 1 use causes Blind, 2 causes Confuse, 3 causes Poison, and 4 triggers a 5-second Doom count.
- 2Displace Keyblade: When No Heart shifts to its shield form, you cannot damage it or No Heart. Focus solely on dodging attacks.
- 3Binding Blast: This attack fires a quick, sudden dark blast that will bind you. You can still attack and defend, but be prepared to guard against subsequent attacks for a few seconds.
- 4Dark Impact: Used frequently when No Heart has around 4 bars of HP remaining. It involves a quick ascent followed by a crash into the ground, creating a shockwave.
- 5Dark Pillar: This attack can alter your speed, either slowing you down or speeding you up. Use Esuna to restore your original speed.
- 6Dark Giga Flare: No Heart's ultimate attack. He hovers and creates an enormous explosion that will kill you unless you have Second Chance. It resets Focus and Command gauges, but not items; use a Mega-Potion if hit. You can dodge this by quickly moving to the far side of the area. Watch out for snake-like darkness on the ground that inflicts Bind, ensuring the attack hits.
Bestiary Stats:
Enemy stats and experience are based on the Combat Level of the area they appear in. These base values are modified by multipliers.
- Archraven: Drop Rate 6%. Stats multiplier 1.2, Experience multiplier 1.0. Elemental Weaknesses: Confuse (60%).
- Shop Level: This hidden statistic determines item drops and increases by 1 each time you complete a major world.
- Shop Level 1-4 Drops (Archraven): Shimmering Crystal (40%), Confuse (60%).
- Shop Level 5-6 Drops (Archraven): Shimmering Crystal (50%), Confusion Strike (50%).

- Be prepared to guard immediately after being hit by Binding Blast.
- The Dark Pillar's speed alteration can be risky; Esuna is the safest way to reset your speed.
- Shop Level is vital for obtaining better items from enemies like Archraven.
