This section details two Gummi Ship Heartless: the Phoenix and the Pirate Ship. The Mystic Flyer is described as a Nobody with a silver body and lavender-topped mushroom cap extensions, and a rose-colored face with a white Nobody emblem, similar in design to the Bomb Bell.

Phoenix Stats:

• Basic: Score 400, HP 600, Damage 1, Charge 4, Medal Orb 4, HP Orb 2
• Red: Score 1200, HP 1500, Damage 1, Charge 50, Medal Orb 12, HP Orb 6
• Gold: Score 2400, HP 3600, Damage 1, Charge 100, Medal Orb 24, HP Orb 12

Phoenix Design: A basic Phoenix has a long, thin body with a round, purple head featuring a yellow spike and a white cross emblem. Its body is pink with a purple base, and it has two purple, sickle-shaped wings that function as guns, each with three wide, white and pink "feathers" tipped in yellow.

Pirate Ship Components:

Pirate Ship Design: A large, mechanical Heartless resembling a dilapidated sailing ship. Its hull is dark brown wood with red additives and yellow highlights. It has four tattered sails, with the bow sail featuring the Heartless emblem. The crow's nest is silver with yellow highlights and a bent yellow spike. The bow has large yellow spiral "eyes" and a silver "jaw" with black and white zig-zag markings. Three silver engines are on each side of the aft end. The bowsprit is a silver, conical spike. The "mouth" protects a cracked Skull with glowing yellow eyes and a spiked lower jaw. The deck has various cannons (Mega, Medium, Mini) that fire Cannon Balls, which are spherical, dark-colored enemies with jagged red maws and yellow eyes. Large and small wheels are on the hull sides. It is accompanied by Ghost (white) and Ghoul (black) Heartless, both with jagged red maws and yellow eyes.

Strategy: Ghosts and Ghouls are respawning enemies that attack by charging; they can be stopped with bullets. This Heartless type doesn't drop many items. Cannon Balls are projectiles launched by the ship during the Phantom Storm Mission and will explode if not destroyed in time. The Skull is revealed near the end of the mission and may summon other ships. The Reaper's Wheel has basic stats of Score 8000, HP 8000, and Damage 15.
