Walkthrough
  1. 1
Head to the Brink of Despair to obtain the [DARK CITY MAP] (7/19).
  2. 2
Save your game and visit the Moogle Shop. Don't miss the small chest to the left for an [ORICHALCUM+].
  3. 3
Proceed to the next area, Nobody's Home, for a scene and a fight against new enemies, including the dangerous Sorcerer.
  4. 4
Open the first chest for an [ORICHALCUM] (11/19).
  5. 5
Continue to find Snipers and more Sorcerers. Pick up the [MYTHRIL GEM] (10/19) and proceed into the next area.
  6. 6
This platform is an elevator; on the far end is [TWILIGHT #26].
  7. 7
Defeat the Dragoons as you ascend and enter Twilight's View.
  8. 8
Collect the [COSMIC BELT] (12/19) from the chest.
  9. 9
Save your game and enter the Hall of Empty Melodies for a lengthy scene followed by a boss fight with Xigbar.
  10. 10
After defeating Xigbar, you receive [SECRET ANSEM'S REPORT 3].
  11. 11
Continue your ascension at Naught's Skyway to obtain a [MYTHRIL GEM] (13/19).
  12. 12
Further up the ramp are an [ORICHALCUM] (14/19) and a [MYTHRIL CRYSTAL] (15/19).
  13. 13
In the next area, you'll get another scene and then the [OBLIVION] Keyblade, along with the [CASTLE THAT NEVER WAS MAP].
  14. 14
Continue to the Proof of Existence, save your game, and grab [TWILIGHT #34].
  15. 15
Enter the first area to fight Luxord.
Tips
  • Sorcerers use magic cubes to prevent melee combat, but a well-timed Reflect (a defensive ability that mirrors attacks) can cause significant damage and even defeat a Sorcerer in a single blow. Magnet (an ability that pulls enemies in) also works well, stunning the Sorcerer for a melee combo. It's also possible to defeat Sorcerers before they summon their cubes.
  • When fighting Xigbar, dodge his initial sniping attacks until you receive the Reaction Command "Break". Use "Warp Snipe" a few times to get him to warp back down. He is quick and hard to hit, but he needs to reload, which is a great time to attack. You can also close in and be prepared to Guard (a defensive action) to reflect his lasers back at him. Throughout the battle, Xigbar will change the floor, making it harder to approach him.
  • When Xigbar reaches 35% HP, he will turn the room into a tiny square and rapidly fire lasers. Running in circles and using Reflect if caught is an easy tactic. You need to dodge the follow-up attacks in the same manner to avoid falling.
  • Using forms is not the best idea when fighting Organization XIII members, as you have a higher chance of entering Anti-Form (a weaker, uncontrollable form).
  • Keep enough MP (magic points) to heal yourself during the Xigbar fight.
  • Using Reaction Commands (special moves triggered by a button prompt, usually Triangle) will make the battle easier.
  • MP +10 (Sora)
  • Item Slot (Donald)
  • HP +5 (Goofy)
  • [SECRET ANSEM'S REPORT 3]
  • [OBLIVION] Keyblade
