Walkthrough

    Follow Pete to the Waterway.
  2. 2
    Use the Triangle button to hit items back at Pete as he takes the Cornerstone. You need to hit six items before he is knocked out and the boat comes to shore.

    Grab onto the hook and break the cage by using the Triangle button to "Hang On" as the hook sways.

    If you let go of the hook, you must defeat some Heartless and quickly continue your assault.

    After saving the Cornerstone, grab the following items: Frost Stone (7/7), Mythril Stone (5/7), AP Boost (6/7), and Heart #8.

    Head to the Wharf to fight the other Pete.

Pete Boss Fight Strategy:

  1. The best way to attack Pete is to wait for him to leap or flank him.
  2. Pete constantly throws out exploding bombs, uses a shockwave slam, and throws a Tantrum when he yells, "Get outta my way!".
  3. Use Past Pete to your advantage with "About Face" to launch him into Pete.
  4. When 20% of his HP is depleted, Pete will change the area to Scene of the Fire where you'll contend with balls of flame amongst his normal flurry of attacks.
  5. At about 40% HP, Pete will shift to Mickey's House where you must deal with the gravitational pull in the center of the room.
  6. The scene changes to Lilliput at about 60% of Pete's HP; deal with the cannons shooting at you during this phase.
  7. At 80% health, the scene changes for the final time to the Building Site.
  8. When Pete gets launched up in the air, be sure to use "Air Slash" to deal a ton of damage and end the fight.
  • During Cornerstone Rescue: Dodge Slash (Sora), Fantasia (Donald), Auto Limit (Donald), HP +5 (Goofy)
  • After Pete Boss Fight: HP +5 (Sora), Reflect Element (Sora), HP +4 (Donald), Goofy Tornado (Goofy)

After the Battle:

  1. Sora seals the Keyhole and receives the [MONOCHROME] Keyblade.
  2. The thorns are removed back at Disney Castle and the next two worlds are unlocked.
  3. Wisdom Form is unlocked.
  4. The "Pain and Panic Cup" is available at the Olympus Coliseum.
