    After the opening scene in Port Royal, search the area for the Naval Map (1/14), a Dark Shard (3/14), Heart #7, and a Mythril Stone (2/14).

    Head down the stairs to find Pete talking with Captain Barbossa.

    You must defeat the Undead Pirates, but they are initially invulnerable.

    A cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically) will play where the moon appears, allowing the Undead Pirates to be damaged. Pete reveals that magic is highly effective against them. Fire deals increased damage, Blizzard can freeze them, and Thunder slows their movement.

    Follow Pete into town and clear out the Heartless.

    Go down the left side to acquire Two Sides #11.

    Continue to the northeast to find a chest containing a Dark Stone (4/14).

    Leap up in this area to obtain Edge #7.

    Continue to the north end, break the crates, and claim the Mythril Gem (7/14).

    Go to the Harbor to meet Captain Jack Sparrow.

    You begin aboard the Interceptor. Go to the Hold to save your game and shop at Morlock's Moogle Shop.
Tips
  • Undead Pirate A has darker skin, attacks at close range with two hatches, and has a Reaction Command called "Backshuffle" which leads to "High Counter" dealing triple damage.
  • Undead Pirate C wears a white shirt and fires bolts from a distance. Use the Reaction Command "Return Fire" to reflect the bolt.
  • Undead Pirate B is defensive and tosses bombs.
  • The Cannon Gun fires cannon bombs that can deal significant damage. It can also use a Recoil Shot to fire horizontally. Focus this enemy in battle to avoid being overwhelmed by its accompanying Heartless.
  • Magic spells like Fire, Blizzard, and Thunder are very effective against the Undead Pirates.
